Lexus LFA
The Lexus LFA is already an indicative super car in its own right. And as it the case when exclusivity begets more exclusivity, Lexus has announced that they are releasing a new track edition LFA optimized for circuit driving.
Called the Nürburgring Package in connection to the world prominent race track in Germany where the legend of the LFA came to life, this special edition LFA will be determined by a fixed rear wing, larger front spoiler, sports tuned suspension and high grip tires.
The Lexus LFA is powered by a 4.8 liter V10 that delivers a maximum output of 560 HP, but for the LFA Nurburgring Track Edition the output will be raised to 570 hp. The dash from 0 to 60 mph will be made in 3.7 seconds, and top speed will go up to 210 mph.
Also this special edition will be offered in only four colors: Matte Black, Black, White or Orange and a choice of three interior color schemes - black and red, black and purple or just black.
The Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition were built with a slew of special upgrades, including a bigger front spoiler, a fixed wing on the back, fin-type of side spoilers, and stickier compound tires. In addition to that, these special edition LFAs will also get a moderate boost in power to over 560 horsepower. It’s not a lot compared to the standard model, but it’s still significant enough to warrant a mention, especially given that the supercar already comes with a 4.8-liter V10 engine.
It goes without without announcing that Lexus clash gold in its attack nto the realm of the super car; a remarkable achievement considering that before the LFA came to life, the words ’Lexus’ and ’supercar’ were as synonymous to each other as peanut butter and carrots.
